Cold Water Redfish 01/6/24

Cold water red fishing is my favorite time of the year for sure. It great to be warm early season and maybe find some groups of redfish but really dosent compare to see these giants floating in the gin clear waters of the winter. The water gets colder and the microorganisms die off and the winds have less effect on the clarity. The fish come back here to warm up and with any sun the float up to get that space heater! It’s an amazing place in Jan/Feb so if you have any thoughts of coming here I’m at 75% capacity for the 2025 season please give me a call.

I still have great guide colleagues that have a lot of open days this winter/spring if you are looking for an Everglades Fly Fishing Guide or a Naples Fly Fishing Guide let me know!

Have fun out there!
