Early season cold front 03/12/18

Most saltwater anglers scratch their heads when the cold front comes through and everything that was happening starts to stop, thats what I pride myself in; finding my clients quality fishing opportunities in even the worst of fronts. Snook, Tarpon and Bass are very predictable in The Everglades. Thats why you hire me as your Everglades fly fishing guide, I stay on the water! I have seen this year after year and the fishing heats up once the fish are comfortable with the cooler water temperatures, they are not going anywhere, not migrating or spawning yet so they are easily located. Ive had explosive tarpon fishing for triple digit tarpon fly fishing the Everglades and Naples area when the water temps drop and they do not “show” techniques and areas are key and then after we get our tarpon on the fly out of the way we go after some trophy snook and I love getting fooled by a largemouth bass in snook country, thats why I love being a Everglades fly fishing guide, we just go fish untouched water and we never know what we are going to catch; Bass, snook, and the mighty tarpon are of course my main targets but being secluded in a park the size of the everglades and getting the opportunities to guide great clients out of Marco Island and Naples is why I’ll never really work a day in my life, its way too much fun to call it work.

Lets get after it! I still have June dates available if you are looking for a tarpon fly fishing guide!
