Rain or Shine 01/15/22

Rain or shine the fellas getting it done in the clouds and rain. Sometimes you just don’t know here in the marsh and sometimes we opt to spin fish when things turn really bad but on a day like today I did t think we had much chance at seeing them with thick clouds and rain all day. Well you don’t know unless you go right?!? Rich and Jeremy getting some bulls on deck today seeing them in the clouds when floating on top or that quick shot when they are moving away. It takes a good set of eyes to see these fish when the clouds are thick but landing just a few of these giant redfish on fly would be considered a epic day in many other fisheries. Rich and Jermey from Watermaster boats in MT smashed them day one with high sun and came out the next day ready to go in some tuff conditions. I always say I remember every fish I catch but I mostly remember the ones that took some grit or grind and I’m the type of guide that likes to dig in when things get tuff and land some memorable fish for clients. Looking like some good weather ahead after this front. I sure do appreciate my clients and with rebookings here filling up a year in advance call me if you are looking to fish the marsh asap. I have been bouncing some trips off guide buddies if you are looking for a Naples Fly Fishing Guide or a Everglades Fly Fishing Guide the fishing has started to turn into normal FL winter weather patterns with good snookin!
Have fun
